My earliest memory about pharmacies involved trekking from one to another to find medications for my parents. At the time, it just felt like what needed to happen. Like that was the way God designed the world, and there was nothing that could change it. As I got older, the trekking reduced, and it became more of jumping on bikes. Now, the distance increased and so did the resolve to find medications for my mum and dad. And because I didn’t have a phone at some point, it meant that even if the pharmacy had the medications, I couldn’t buy them whenever the price was higher than the amount I was given. On and on. From one pharmacy to the other. Until I found one that had the medication in stock at the price that matches/is lesser than the money I had in hand. If I didn’t? I’d go back home empty-handed for a top-up, then journey again to the pharmacy. But the world is a museum of passion projects. Finding medications shouldn’t be hard. Same way it shouldn’t be hard to send money to your family and friends. The medications are available, yet we struggle with where they are and how much they cost. That changes with our passion project at Famasi, and we hope you feel enthusiastic about the future the way we do. If you’re someone with recurrent medications. Or if you know someone with recurrent medications. A friend? Parents? Uncles? Our promise is to make getting your medications simple(r). Anytime you need them. Wherever you need them. Welcome to the new way to Famasi 💙 #FamasiCares
Famasi Africa@famasiafrica

Medications should meet you where you are, not the other way round, so we're making the experience simpler. Now you can find your medications across 1000+ pharmacies in one place, compare prices & get them to you in an hour. Visit: famasi.africa

@jojoxcvii Yeah, it’s pretty good. I almost never have FOMO with it because it just does things — Codex FOMO is always there but I never think I’m missing Claude. Went 2 months without touching Claude models.

That’s how I saw video of a woman that’s been in a situationship for 25 years. The guy had someone else he was committed to btw. Understanding side piece 😂

My thing is, why do you want to be with someone that’d rather be with someone else? It’s not even a “love is blind” thing. Don’t you have love at home? Even if you have bad relationship with your parents, you don’t have friends, or siblings that love you? Have you finished all the TV shows and movies there is to watch? Have you visited all the art galleries within your reach? Have you maxed out your hobbies? And if you don’t have hobbies, is it not better to go comfort people at the hospital who don’t have families to care for them? Would that not be more fulfilling? Than to blindly hope for someone that’s fine talking to another person. Situationship una. Pass me shawarma with two sausage rolls, chicken & beef pls.

@gr0uchy_ They’ll continue ranting about how nothing is fair and life sucks. Everybody else is the problem. Some people like/are addicted to complaining more than making progress sadly.

@heykastrah So true. My biggest gripe with that behavior is that it assumes they will not meet another reciprocator. If we all didn’t initiate what would they do? It really makes you wonder. The complaining part too. Jesus. You remain so passive but you rant that things don’t go your way

Maybe I’m doing too much but I have a real problem with “I certainly do not initiate but I promise you I reciprocate” It just rubs me off the wrong way and says a lot about you as an individual in that you never take charge of your wants or desires

Sadly lol which erases the opportunity to be better than the defaults. It’s largely been made into this cute thing but people like that often make bad partners bc they’ll leave the initiative part to you vs putting forward ideas. And then complain you didn’t do something they didn’t communicate.

@heykastrah The funniest thing is the people touting that mentality will never agree/ admit that they’re avoidants🤣

I’ve been consciously walking like this and honestly, it’s a world of difference. It engages the hips, lower back, and thighs wayyy more. Better hip extension → improved pelvic stability → more core/lower back activation → upright posture.

@A_Feranmi It’s also a case of most people not knowing they can dislike X while still liking Y so they struggle with that balance and bucket things into good vs bad alone. I’ve resolved to implementing voice soon so everybody can just rant.

Generally, Nigerians don’t know how to give feedback. You have to guide them to explain better what they didn’t enjoy about a service or product.
