Many founders and operators in the climate tech space are digesting the election results; some are worried about the future as we enter this new era of politics. In case it’s helpful, here’s what I did this AM: 1. Update your Board: Let them know you’re thinking of what this means for you & your business, and why (if you already had a plan that you’re triggering into action, all the better!) 2. Reassure your teams: this is something they will want from their founders/CEOs - I sent a message to the company on Slack to set out what the election result means for Climate X and they really appreciate the timeliness and speed of the comms (tl:dr net neutral / positive in our case…!) 3. Support your American colleagues who may have stayed up all night and are now trying to process the outcome: they’ll appreciate a check-in- and a reminder that their work is needed now more than ever.
