I finally stopped letting perfectionism kill my portfolio and just shipped it. Started with a simple layout, put up a few works, and decided to update it piece by piece. Now It’s live and growing. Waiting for the “right moment” gets you nowhere.

Building heavy animation sites with Astro and still hitting green on PageSpeed? Yes, please! With AI handling layouts, I save 10-15 hours and focus on the magic. I used Motion here for animation and have some JS that can be reduced - but see these results, still amazing!

You can use Figma AI (Gemini) to make a normal map from the image. Didn’t expect it to work, but it actually works well! Tested with @Blender and Three.js integration in Framer.

Finally got 3D integration working in Framer today. Building a proper product viewer on the site - you can spin the model around, all controlled with Framer components. Took longer than I want to admit, but feels so good.

Sometimes I look at all my half-finished stuff in Figma and Framer and think I should force myself to finish them. Turns out, that’s just sunk cost fallacy (finally googled the name). Every abandoned project taught me something. Moving forward feels better than forcing old ideas.

Now I keep catching myself thinking about how to bring more real from the street into my web experience. Like those moments where movement actually feels like it means something, not just another effect. That’s probably where the good user feelings hide.

Those screens don’t get much time - if the message doesn’t land in a few seconds, you’re already gone. On websites, it’s always either too little or way too much. Everything spinning, sliding, popping up. Sometimes I can’t even tell what I’m supposed to look at first.

I keep thinking about how we treat animations on websites. Most of the time, they’re just decoration - like confetti we throw around because it’s fun. But when I see those huge digital ads in the city, I notice something different.

@gominaoso Exactly. How many years ago I canceled my Adobe subscription? Five! I think we just waiting now for real game changes like Figma was when released!

I keep trying other design tools just to see if I’m missing out on something, but I always end up back in Figma. It’s not even about features anymore - I just work faster in it, and my brain doesn’t slow down. I don’t have to think about the interface - I just build. At this point, it’s less about loyalty and more about flow.

Making my portfolio website, day one. I want to replace my current website with something more in line with my vision. As always, I start with a mood board, and as always, I'll say this is my favorite step. Nwo I'm off to delve deeper into the depths of Pinterest.

I tried to waste a couple of weeks on LinkedIn. People are still comparing platforms, Agencies are shitting to freelancers, Freelancers are screwing agencies. 99.999999% of posts are 100% AI. Comments are AI. I felt like taking a shower after that 😀

Working on Apple-style Gallery component for @framer Here is a quick preview for navigation. Wasted half of the day to make exactly this behaviour work, but happy with the results.

I love building sites in Framer and Webflow, but real client projects often demand more: secure APIs, databases, and backend. That’s where Astro saves me. Just building now a lightning-fast landing page with registration logic and a Rive animation pulling live data.

If you got enlarged tonsil stones to the point where it becomes dangerously big, consider to remove it. I've been warned by an ENT doctor to remove my tonsil stones in February 2025. The doctor said, if I neglect it, the tonsil stones whenever it got inflammation will eventually grow even bigger and will block my breathing completely. Back then, I thought the doctor was just trying to scared me, until yesterday. Yesterday, I wasn't breathing. My wife got panicked and woke me up frantically and said that I am not breathing. And yes, I can't breath with my nose at all. Only with my mouth, but it's not even helpful to feel okay, I feel light headed, most likely due to lack of oxygen. She rushed me to the hospital and check out the condition. And yes, my tonsil stones pushed the wall of my breathing passage until it got blocked completely. Some meds can help to lower the size. But it's not a long term solution. Because the size will always increased over time. It's a very bad condition and requires a surgery. And I will do the surgery next week. Never underestimate what the doctor said after all.

My schedule got wild: Client projects piling up, and I’m finishing my Framer marketplace template. So how do I keep up without burning out? I split my days into 3 must-have phases: Client work - Side projects - Marketing and hunting. it’s all about consistency.

Built a Framer component yesterday that adapts perfectly to any container width - and it just works. The main difference with standard way: it perfectly works with dynamic CMS content. Here’s a quick demo:
