Anti AI people are going to cave the minute 3 of their favorite franchises or products use AI… Or when their friend group outnumbers them or their significant other does something with Gen AI and ask them to support… It’s only a matter of time. You know why I know what? I’ve watched nearly all performative nonsense like this over the decades. Photoshop was the big one… And computer animation… Digital cameras vs Film was an all out war that some of you are too young for, you’ve known nothing but digital. 25-30 years ago digital photos were a blasphemy and you were destroying art. Alot of you are also too young to remember the “video games waste electricity argument”. Yes environmentalist came for video games… And yes they came for PC Gamers and did entire pieces showcasing landfills full of computer parts and it got mainstream media attention. Netflix was directly attacked during the days it sent DVD… Streaming was attacked as well in defense of keeping block buster. Online shopping was demonized for taking jobs. Uber was demonized for taking jobs from cab drivers. Almost every innovation has been demonized at mass scale… The public forgets in a few years and the people with pitch forks pretend get were never on the wrong side…

I'm going to say what most of us already know. People like these are the reason why the "inauthentic content" problem seems bigger than it actually is, and why most of it is bullshit. Let's take a look at this post. Context: I'm only responding to this because this "narrative" is getting out of hand, and there's maybe 1 out of 1,000 channels like this that genuinely didn't deserve to get demonetized. Let's get into it. The channel is an IShowSpeed clipping channel, but the public message? Claim #1: Every single video starts with MY idea, story build-up by ME, clips cut & arranged by ME. You're still using another person's content in order to achieve these. You didn't pay for his flights, you didn't pay for his production staff. I mean, at least show us your license to use his content. Just because you're editing the clips, whether you use AI or not, doesn't mean that you suddenly possess the rights to this footage. On top of that, just putting the "Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976" paragraph in your description, which all of these channels seem to do, doesn't mean that you're actually creating content which falls under fair use. Claim #2: I didn't start LightMoviesX for the money. I started it because it's my passion. What passion are we talking about here? A passion to share Speed's content? If that was the sole reason why you're doing this, you wouldn't be complaining about monetization. You're literally complaining about being demonetized, which is literally your ability to generate money through other people's content. Claim #3: I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm just asking for ONE real human to actually look at my channel and my Appeal Video. You are asking for special treatment, just like hundreds of others trying to guilt trip YouTube into giving you a pass. You're a problem because it's people like you that take up YouTube's time, which needs to go towards creators who actually deserve to get a proper appeal process. Do better.

YouTube DEMONETIZED my channel with 781K SUBSCRIBERS. My Channel: @LightMoviesX" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@LightMoviesX Every single video starts with MY idea, story build-up by ME, clips cutting & Arrange by ME. All videos are edited by me in (Premiere Pro, After Effects Or Adobe Audition). No templates, No Auto Ai Edit, Nothing at all. Yet YouTube decided my content is "Inauthentic." I submitted an unlisted video appeal showing my entire creative process. The response I got from support? A copy-paste reply that thousands of creators receive word for word. Not one thing specific to MY channel. There are so many creators who put SO MUCH WORK into what they do, only for YouTube to push them away. I didn't start LightMoviesX for the money. I started it because it's my passion. 781k people subscribed because they genuinely love the content. That's not inauthentic. That's real. @TeamYouTube I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm just asking for ONE real human to actually look at my channel and my Appeal Video 24 days demonetized and counting.

@MarioJoos @HHillierSmith Would you still have the same take if viewers preferred AI assisted content over 100% human content? If yes, it seems like you’re asking YouTube to put creators’ needs over viewers’ needs which doesn’t make sense. Shouldn’t viewers decide what they want to watch based on merit?
