في يوم عهد الاتحاد، نستذكر بفخر تلك اللحظة التاريخية التي آمن فيها الآباء المؤسسون بأن وحدة الصف طريق التقدم، وأن التلاحم بين الإمارات هو سر القوة والمنعة. واليوم، في ظل قيادة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة "حفظه الله"، نمضي أوفياء لهذا العهد، نبني على أسسه الراسخة، ونكتب فصولاً جديدة من الإنجاز والريادة، لترسّخ الإمارات مكانتها بين الأمم وطناً للعطاء والازدهار.

On Union Pledge Day, we remember the historical moment when our Founding Fathers believed that the only way forward was to form a union. That a bond between the Emirates is the secret to power and strength. Today, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, we continue faithfully with this pledge, and start building upon its foundation new chapters of achievements and pioneerdom, to instill the UAE's global standing.

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, I chaired the meeting of the Investment Affairs Council, which operates under the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs, where the Council reviewed the performance of investment entities and their role in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for investment and capital. We also reviewed global and regional economic developments and their impact across key sectors, underscoring the importance of continuing to develop investment policies and leverage AI solutions to enhance readiness for economic change, seize the opportunities that emerge amid transformation and challenges, and further reinforce Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness and sustainable economic growth.

بحضور سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان وسمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، ترأست اجتماع مجلس الشؤون الاستثمارية التابع للمجلس الأعلى للشؤون المالية والاقتصادية، حيث اطلع المجلس على أداء الجهات الاستثمارية ودورها في ترسيخ مكانة أبوظبي مركزاً عالمياً للاستثمار ورأس المال. كما استعرضنا المستجدات الاقتصادية العالمية والإقليمية وانعكاساتها على مختلف القطاعات، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة تطوير السياسات الاستثمارية وتوظيف حلول الذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يعزز الجاهزية للمتغيرات الاقتصادية، ويدعم الاستفادة من الفرص التي تبرز في أوقات التحول والتحديات، ويسهم في ترسيخ تنافسية أبوظبي واستدامة نموها الاقتصادي.

في يوم الأب، نستذكر الأب والمربي والمؤسس زايد رحمة الله عليه، ونحتفل بكل أب كان سنداً وقوة وحباً، شكراً لكل لحظة دعم ولكل تضحية جعلتنا أقوى، كل عام وكل الأباء بألف خير، أنتم النبع الذي لا ينضب من العطاء لنرى أجيال المستقبل يرفعون راية الوطن متسلحين بالعلم والمعرفة.

On Father’s Day, we remember the late Sheikh Zayed, the Founding Father of our nation, and celebrate every father who inspires us with strength, support and love. Thank you for every sacrifice and every moment of encouragement. Your giving spirit continues to inspire future generations to proudly carry our nation’s flag through knowledges and education. Happy Father’s Day to all fathers.

التقيتُ الدكتور كيه آر سريدار، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة بلوم إنرجي، حيث ناقشنا الطلب المتزايد على الطاقة مع التوسع المتسارع للذكاء الاصطناعي، وأهمية تنويع مصادر الإمداد وتطوير حلول أكثر كفاءة وموثوقية تسهم في خفض التكاليف وتعزيز الجاهزية للمستقبل. وتبادلنا وجهات النظر حول مراكز البيانات بوصفها بنية تحتية استراتيجية لاقتصاد الذكاء الاصطناعي، وما يتطلبه نموها المتسارع من قدرات مستدامة وقابلة للتوسع تدعم الابتكار وتعزز التنافسية.

I met with Dr. K. R. Sridhar, Chairman and CEO of Bloom Energy, where we discussed the growing demand for energy driven by the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence, and the importance of diversifying energy sources and advancing more efficient and reliable solutions that help reduce costs and strengthen future readiness. We also exchanged views on data centers as strategic infrastructure for the AI economy, and the need for sustainable and scalable capacity to support their rapid growth, drive innovation, and enhance competitiveness.

استقبلت اليوم النائب جوش غوتهايمر، عضو مجلس النواب الأمريكي عن ولاية نيوجيرسي، حيث استعرضنا العلاقات الاستراتيجية المتميزة بين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وسبل تعزيز التعاون في مختلف المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك. كما ناقشنا القضايا الإقليمية والدولية، وأكدنا حرص البلدين الصديقين على تعميق الشراكة الاستراتيجية بما يدعم السلام والاستقرار والازدهار في المنطقة والعالم.

I met with Congressman Josh Gottheimer, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the State of New Jersey, where we reviewed the distinguished strategic relations between the UAE and the USA, and ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. We also discussed regional and international issues, and affirmed the commitment of both friendly nations to deepening the strategic partnership in support of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.

ترأست الاجتماع الثاني لمجلس إدارة شركة إم جي إكس لعام 2026، حيث استعرضنا الاستثمارات الجديدة وأداء المحفظة الاستثمارية، وناقشنا أولويات النمو في المرحلة المقبلة بما يعزز قيمة الشركة ويواكب توجهاتها الاستراتيجية. كما تناولنا إسهامات إم جي إكس في دعم التوسع العالمي للبنية التحتية للذكاء الاصطناعي، وترسيخ شراكات نوعية تسهم في بناء منظومة أكثر كفاءة ومرونة واستعداداً للمستقبل.

I chaired the second Board of Directors meeting of MGX for 2026, where we reviewed new investments and portfolio performance, and discussed the next phase of growth in a way that strengthens the company’s value and advances its strategic priorities. We also reviewed MGX’s contribution to the global expansion of AI infrastructure, and the building of high-impact partnerships that support a more efficient, resilient, and future-ready ecosystem.

بحضور سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان وسمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، وتزامناً مع مرور 50 عاماً على تأسيس جهاز أبوظبي للاستثمار، ترأست اجتماع مجلس الإدارة، واستعرضنا أداء الجهاز خلال عام 2025 والربع الأول من عام 2026، بما يعكس قوة الأداء وثباته وجاهزيته لمختلف المتغيرات. كما ناقشنا الأوضاع الإقليمية وانعكاساتها على الاقتصاد العالمي وأسواق المال، وأكدنا قدرة الجهاز على الحفاظ على قوة أدائه وثباته في مختلف الظروف، استناداً إلى استراتيجياته الاستثمارية المرنة والمدعومة بتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي. ونعتز بإرث الجهاز الراسخ، وبما قدمه الرعيل الأول وكل من واصل المسيرة من كفاءات وطنية، في بناء مؤسسة رائدة أسهمت في دعم الاقتصاد الإماراتي وتعزيز حضور الدولة عالمياً على مدى خمسة عقود.

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and as the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority marks its 50th anniversary, I chaired the Board meeting, where we reviewed the Authority’s performance during 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, underscoring its strength, consistency, and readiness across changing conditions. We also discussed regional developments and their implications for the global economy and financial markets, and affirmed the Authority’s ability to maintain strong and steady performance under varying conditions, supported by flexible investment strategies and AI-enabled capabilities. We take pride in the Authority’s enduring legacy and in the contribution of the founding generation and all national talent who continued its journey, building a leading institution that has supported the UAE economy and strengthened the country’s global presence for five decades.
