@MissQuile I use the discussion board in Canvas with my 6th graders. I post a question, with a sentence stem, and kids reply. They must also reply to at least 2 others students!

A4: #1stTeachChat @tylerisdlearn This week I discussed with @ClarkstonTISD 5th graders how to track their own goals in AR and how to read the bar graphs. We discussed what happens to your goal % based on quiz results. Ask your MTS how they can help you with this!

A4: Since my students keep their own data charts, filing them in after a test can be exciting for some and a wake up call for others. We talk about assessing yourself and making adjustments in your study habits to reach those goals! #1stTeachChat @tylerisdlearn

A3: Students keep data tracking sheet in their journal. We record their unit test scores on it for the year. On the tracker is a section to make a goal for the next test. We also track data by class on a chart. Helps keep a little competition going! #1stTeachChat @tylerisdlearn

A2: F2F, my students enjoy collaborating within their small groups. They use 1:1 devices to demonstrate learning via FlipGrid. They also have been able to communicate through Canvas discussion board posts with their classmates that are at home. #1stTeachChat

#1stTeachChat A1: I’ve been lucky enough to really just be blended, not virtual this yr (all of my students were in their seats before end of 1/6W. That said design has become more intentional. It has actually become much easier to differentiate/extend lessons. @ClarkstonTISD
