For the kind of hype brevis had, he turned out to be such a disappointment. Not even a single impactful knock to remember. The difference between last year and this year is astonishing. Maybe we hyped him too much as we are having a shit season last year.

Brevis escaped a lot of criticism cause of Rutu's masterclass. An absolutely mediocre season to say the least. Had a couple of chances mid way through the season to step up with the bat but failed miserably.

@InMyOwnBubble_ The management has to change the coaching and support staff in 2027, so they can travel with the existing squad next year to plan before the mega auction. Hope they do this.

@Raayanlfc @InMyOwnBubble_ Also, they need to get all-rounders. Or try to make the players we have to bowl also. Like ayush and brevis can spin right. Hopefully, they learned the lesson and improve next year. Also, the injury management needs to be looked into seriously.

@hiddenkl3 @InMyOwnBubble_ Yeah, its the mentality, the approach, everything has to change. These guys need to adpat to the current t20 way of play. Taking the innings deeper, or anchoring the innings on the other end won't work anymore.

@ishcus97 @ChennaiIPL It's not like Rutu doesn't know how to play this kind of innings. He actually played these kinds of innings for CSK. This season it feels like he chose not to play. Only he can explain why he changed his approach.

Look how Gill and Sudarshan have batted. No big shots or sixer rains. Just pure class cricketing shots. You don't always need to play like Sooryavanshi to get 70+. Sometimes you play like Sudarshan and get that 70+. Ketucha @ChennaiIPL
