audience’s reactions to their tension in pt2 is exactly why more rep in these so often “straight” genres is necessary. i’ve seen so many who don’t know their story, and even some in the know, that didn’t pick up intentionally written underlying tension (1/5)

@Paiges_of_Art great thread!! this is also why i think the scene where fran forgets her name was the right call (despite the backlash), the show had to make it that on the nose for the audience to pick up attraction between two women.. and even then so many still missed it 😭

The biggest things I wish were in the season aren’t even Benophie related cause I’m just so satisfied with their arc. I would’ve liked a scene of the sisters helping Sophie get ready for the ball. Hyacinth’s excitement about Benophie. A Kanthony and Benophie scene.
