@NBC_Peacock PxP announcer @CoryProvus today introduced @Yankees SS Anthony Volpe as “Gold Glove winning SS.” While factually correct, the inference (Volpe is a strong defensive SS) is misleading. His GG win was questionable he & has been middling at best in @MLB since then.

Thoughts for @Yankees GM Brian Cashman. In 2025 the Yanks June Boone Swoon saw them play sub .300 baseball (6-15) over the course of 3+ weeks & sub .400 for more than 1/3 of the season (22-35). In that span they went from 4.5 games up in the division to 3 games down. Murcer/16
