REQUEST: I am looking for anecdotes/quotes about "famous mathematicians were people too." That is, I don't want stories about their math. I want stories about their friends, family, joy, grief, struggles, charity, humor, etc.

@landi_qt2 Maybe look at the derivatives with respect to mu_n to derive a differential equation instead of the integral? Not sure if it gives you a closed expression though 😅

i'm afraid when i told my publishers "Book 6 is magician academics rom-com set in hell" what i meant was "endless rabbit holes of math, logic paradoxes, paradoxes of rational choice, plato, aristotle, mind body dualism, Dante riffs, and theories of eternal recurrence"

@Gemma_DLC Few recs: The Looper by @rianjohnson (time-traveling assassins), Palm Springs (a cheerful spin on the Groundhog Day), The Girl Who Leapt through time (a growing-up story with time travel elements). Also heard good things about Primer, but haven’t seen that one.
