I launched my free chrome extension on Product Hunt without telling a single person about it and somehow got to 13th place 🤔

AI Overviews are eating everyone's blog traffic but there's one page type they can't kill: tool pages for "how do I do X" queries, AI just answers and nobody clicks but a tool isn't something AI can do in the summary - it has to send people to your page to use it so tool pages are way more click-resistant than blog posts example: I built a free AI Content Brief Generator for Instadraft people search it, and have to come to the page to use it if you have a product, build a free tool around what it does

after 2 years of ignoring my Chrome extension, I finally put real time in new features, its own website, a fresh store listing guess which one actually brought in new users? not the features. not the website the SEO-optimised listing update - results literally the next day 🤯 here's exactly what I changed: > title: front-loaded the high-intent keywords > description: packed with the phrases people actually search > screenshots: keyword headline baked into the first one > demo video: refreshed knew SEO mattered, but didn't expect it to be so powerful for the Chrome Web Store
