@Dammi_Esq The question we need to ask is what who are they working for ? If it’s the church , then they can get paid by the church. If it’s not God , they get paid by God. A proper definition of the employer would help determine whether or not this should be considered.

I honestly think churches should consider giving their choristers and ushers a small monthly allowance. Many of them are required to sew uniforms, and some of them are not even working or financially stable. It’s not easy for everyone. Sometimes I wonder, can’t we just sing and serve God in the clothes we already have? Why must it always be a uniform? Not everyone in church is rich. What do you think?
