What were peoples thoughts on Doueihi playing 6 & Madden playing 7? They have played like this in parts during the past few weeks - but tonight was a definite switch in how they played. It worked. What will this mean now for Luai coming back - position wise for all involved?

I know the @NRL has this Vegas deal for another year or two - & it’s super exciting & all that. But it seriously looks like the stadium isn’t even half full? Is it just me?

@NBWT__ I thought he had some real good touches tonight. My only (small) issue with his game tonight was his play the balls were so slow. Other then that - he was outstanding.

Charlie Murray the best example of the difference a full NRL preseason can make. Can never question his effort but struggled to win tackles on either side of the ball. Only trials but winning tackles a feature of both performances.

I said to the fam with 15 to go that I felt we had a try in us 1 but I wasn’t expecting 3!!! We have such an exciting young bunch of kids coming through atm - we could really be building towards something special if we can keep a majority of these kids.

@Jeff__E Madi was outstanding mate. I’m not overplaying that comment - he was dangerous everytime he had the ball and he can whack in D.

Some real positive signs yesterday for our younger bunch coming through. The stand outs for me were (obviously) Makasini who was so damaging with the ball. Hunter Valley boy Jock Madden was great with his organisation & led the boys well. Attard in FB was super impressive
