Another day, another renovation done. 3 passes with the scarifier 2 ton of thatch taken out. Aerate, top dress, seed and fertilised. A very early start @hillheadcc but all done in time for the rain to come. 3 in 3 days, ready for one big push tomo to finish off the week. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏏

Grounds are in excellent condition for middle of the season. Very happy with where @graha1874 is and the surfaces he’s producing. Taking in a lot of information and putting it to good use. He’s had more of a free rein at Hillhead this season and has stepped up to the plate. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏏

Busy morning at @hillheadcc as we get ready for game four of six this week!

Despite some late hitting (Soni 51) Hillhead close on 218 and lose by 100 runs v Mearns

Prestwick Twos make light work of chasing down 163 getting home after 22 overs. Firsts 92/4 after 23.

Firsts 37/2 chasing 317. At Prestwick, home side making quick progress and are at 71/1 after 10 chasing 163.

Only 318 to chase down for the Firsts at Hughenden after an afternoon of toil in the sun. Seconds have 163 to defend at Prestwick.

Mearns closing in on 300 - 288/5 after 48. At Prestwick, great fightback from the Seconds who are now 163/9 in the 46th.

Mearns continue to dominate at Hughenden - 203/1 after 38. Seconds 115/7 after 36.

After 25, the Seconds are 81/5 and at Hughenden, the Firsts are "under the cosh" so far as Mearns reach 128/1.

Mearns opening stand reaches 85 - a wicket needed for the Firsts. A long day in the sun threatens! Seconds in a bit of trouble at Prestwick - 60/4.

Fifty up for no loss for Mearns at Hughenden in the 13th. At Prestwick, the Seconds are 41/2.

Today, the Firsts welcome Mearns to Hughenden and are bowling. The Seconds have gone to Ayrshire for a day in the sun - Prestwick Twos are the opposition.

Firsts make it 2 in a row as they beat Motherwell comfortably by 85 runs today. Thirds lose out by 16 runs at Hughenden v EK Threes.

It's a double for the Club today - the Seconds win by 3 wickets v Langside chasing down 218 with 4 overs to spare.

Good win for the Firsts v Victoria. Target of 237 reached 4 down with 4 overs left.
