I want the kind of money that lets me show up for my people. Even if I can't fix everything, i want to at least soften the moment. To send food. To send transport fare. To send ice-cream money on a hard day. I'm tired of only saying "sorry."

In April 2025, Namibia introduced visa requirements for all foreign nationals from countries that also require Namibians to have a travel visa. This at first was met with much skepticism from many, including myself, however fast forward 11 months later, this exercise generated half a billion Namibian dollars Sometimes, knowing your worth is not enough, you have to make others recognize it too

The Idea of me paying R15k for a UK visa when they can just come in our country for free still doesn’t make sense to me.

The joy of owning beautiful things, a good knife, a proper linen towel, a jar of excellent honey, one soul encapsulating perfume, over many mediocre things. Doing this slowly across every domain.
