Thank you to the Royal Canadian Legion for its generous donation of more than $1M to support the Canadian Military, Veteran and Family Connected Campus Consortium (CMVF3C). This donation will help the University of Alberta grow its supports for veterans and their families as they pursue post-secondary education.

Are you a family member or close relation of a Canadian Veteran who has struggled with ethical questions or trust in humanity? Researchers are investigating how moral injury affects families. We want to hear your story. Contact Dr. Smith-MacDonald at himarcr6@ualberta.ca

On October 30, the U of A was proud to lead the signing of the Guiding Principles for the Canadian Military, Veteran and Family Connected Campus Consortium, which supports those who have served or are serving to pursue academic success. Thank you to all our government and post-secondary partners for your continued support and engagement, and an even bigger thank you to our military personnel and their families for including us in your future endeavors.

Today, we remember those who have served and sacrificed and those who continue to serve and sacrifice in our military. Please join the U of A community in a minute of silence at 11 a.m. in honour of those who have fought for Canada, and in respect and support for our troops.
