It feels very in character for Ada not to say “I love you” to Leon directly. Instead, she says it in Chinese, and whenever Leon asks what it means, she just brushes it off. Until one day, when she says it to him again, Leon replies in clumsy Chinese, “I love you too.”😋

In Japan, the catcher is called the pitcher’s 「女房役」“wife” ❤️
It means the catcher supports the pitcher almost like a wife would. It’s very interesting that they placed Leon and Ada in those positions. Is it meant to show Ada quietly supporting Leon? Or hint something？

@hayattayaha It’s kind of common knowledge in Japan, so I think a lot of people there caught it right away haha. But for overseas fans, it feels more like a little hidden gem, which makes it such a fun surprise. 💖

@himawarixmi @de_ashlene I've heard that in Japan, sometimes husbands call their wives "Mom" and wives call husbands "Dad" (from their child's perspective), and some Chinese do that too.

@de_ashlene I personally haven’t really heard that expression before, maybe because I don’t follow baseball that closely. But in Japan, calling the catcher the pitcher’s “wife role” is definitely a pretty common way of putting it.🫶

I’m just sharing that in Japan, the catcher is referred to as the pitcher’s “wife role,” and I think it’s really interesting that Capcom chose to place Leon and Ada in those roles. I’d be happy to hear different interpretations from everyone too.🥰
