I hope I will make sense but let me put it like this: there are currently thousands of players fighting to bring Valko back. There are some who ask for other issues to be fixed and some who don't. But allow me to ask you this: if they won't even listen to the voices of thousands of people while actively losing profit, do you think they would ever listen to the other issues that don't cause them(the company) any troubles or loss of profit? Yes, the other issues are important. And we can work on those later. Once we prove to them we are not pushovers they will learn to listen and fix all those issues. Valko however is time sensitive. If we don't push hard now, we will never get another chance later. I hope this made sense, it sounded better in my head 😅

The reason why him going first matters is because that’s how the writers intended it. Because the connecting factor between the LIs is MC. She is central. Valko’s story was teased as exposing more information on one of the central plot mysteries: the Aether Core. A lot would have been uncovered through her and Valko, which in turn shapes the rest of the story that was already in development to tie to that. MC absorbing the Aether Core in Sylus’s intro chapters fundamentally changed the plot that came after. There are many examples, but I’ll bring up Xavier’s branch, where he didn’t want her to use the full power she had, power she gained from the events of Sylus’s chapters. The reason why he was so worried/concerned that she would use this power is directly tied to his lore and motivations as a character. Whether people want to accept it or not, in MS, all of the lore is integral to the story. The cards are where you get your LI exclusive fluff and you can forget everyone else. MS isn’t that. Adding: You can absolutely ignore the plot of LIs in MS if you want, but that means you’ve never gotten the complete picture anyway and therefore you’re not really the target audience of the MS’s intention. Those of us who DO care about the whole story demand to be given the complete thing, as the devs intended, not retcons pushed in a rush. #BRINGBACKVALKO

To those who are asking “why boycott?” 1. Businessmen sees numbers. This is revenue, daily logins. If this goes down, they would understand something is wrong and they cannot continue to be silent. 2. For the Developers. The game developers are not the one calling the shots, management is. If we let their management just scrape their years of hard work just like that, they probably would not have the drive to put out quality contents anymore since their creativity has been shut down. Put yourself in their shoes. If you decorated your house in game from scratch, put in all the little details to match your LI and then one day, someone came in and just deleted all that and you have to start from scratch again but for a different LI since your original LI is taken down, would you have the same drive and passion to do it all over again? If you can stay away from the game for the time being, please do. Them having the amount of eyes that are on them now, who knows when it will happen again if ever.
