Watched a “how to build a $1M app” video while doom scrolling. 48 hours later, the founders of that app are standing in my office. Only in SF.

It's pretty sad to see all the hate flushing in just because @latishab_ speaks on some cruel fact. The job market is tough but it doesn't help if you acting like this is someone's else fault. It's neither your fault if you can't get a job with a CS degree, as college and the community probably lied to you (yes, college doesn't matter that much as you think). The software employment demand is not like before anymore. It's no longer 2020 where tech companies over-hired. And with AI this will only be tougher for junior to mid level. Either you face this harsh reality, figure out your value in the new market shift and move on, or you blame it on other people and live with misery. That's your own choice. Seeking empathy online doesn't land you a job, sorry to say that.

idk if @cursor_ai supports this but I've been doing this extensively in my swift-kotlin codebase rn: 1. git stage some swift file changes 2. git diff --staged -- "*.swift" > “./staged_diff.txt" 3. reference the staged_diff.txt and prompt to translate to kotlin 4. repeat

today @googlecloud just gave us a $1 MILLION DOLLAR BILL - like wtf to prevent rate limits to google's api, we had to purchase arbitrary provision units with no indication how much was charged per unit until after 2 days - smh 🤦 i was told by support that because I have not "turned on" their budget alerts which takes a PHD to figure out how to and don't even get me started on their UI and 200 clicks to access how we were billed and how much usage we are using on their gemini api and now I am getting blamed by the support agent for not reading the documentation.

does anyone know someone whos working for gcp customer support that can help?? or anyone has resolved similar issues that can help? 😭

People thought I stopped developing ComfyDeploy because I tweet less about it. To be honest things are just completely different now. The stuff that I worked on daily is improving stability, building internal dashboard to track API health. Here's the latest API dashboard refresh.
