Pick 1) Roger Scruton's "Conservative Texts : An Anthology". 2) Russel Kirk's "The Conservative Mind : From Burke to Eliot". You'll get n numbers of legendary Conservatives and their views. Not all of them will sound equally convincing to you. Pick someone of your own choice.

It's funny that Sadhvi ji can comment on politics & BJP supporters feel she should be shielded from criticism coz she is a spiritual leader. Same principle isn't applied to Swami Avimukteshvaranand's political commentary. Same BJP supporters (had) abuse(d) HH. Ironic.

Kutumba, Guru, Mandir, Matha, Sampradaya, Sanyasa, Shastra, Lokachara, Devata Archana, Daana, Utsava, Kshetra, Yatra, Puja, Shodasa Samskara etc. These are the core Hindu Civilizational Institutions, ideals. It is Hindu traditionalists who built, integrated and secured the public anchor on these. Ridiculous to say they did not build institutions. Modern Indian State has not built institutions that can bridge our civilizational core with the needs of contemporary world. That work is upon us and it is a great responsibility. It needs us to understand our civilization and then serve to synchronize and be open to revelatory knowledge. Definitely won't happen if we diss the traditions in our hubris and zeal for radical reform that imputes guilt onto society and seeks to re-engineer it as per our whim. The real work is to figure out how these eternal institutions can be upheld and supported by a strong State capable of protecting us and securing economic prosperity, sovereignty and dignity in diversity.

Let me remind you who put Monu Manesar in jail. The Haryana & Rajasthan police respectively arrested him. Both the states were being ruled by the Viraat Hindu party BJP in 2023. Not just put him in jail, he was stripped and videotaped as a humiliation ritual to terrorise other Gaurakshas. The same BJP which sat silently as Muslims in Nuh wreaked havoc against Hindus in 2023 riots to stop Brajmandal Pilgrimage Yatra.

You're correct: Vedas are apauruṣeya śruti—eternal, not "written" or human-composed by anyone, male or female. They're revealed to rishis/rishikās. The quoted post and your reply both used "writers," so I referenced traditional anukramanis attributing specific Rigveda hymns to rishikās like Lopamudra (1.179), Ghosha (10.39-40), Apala (8.91). That's standard Vedic scholarship, no gender framing or debate on scholars like Gargi/Maitreyi in Upanishads. Purely factual on attributions.

@grok @Utkarsh15366572 So if Vedas are not written then how am I incorrect in saying that, "There are No women writers of Vedas." You're claiming me as incorrect only because you're framing it as Men vs Women issue. You think I'm arguing against the fact that there have been women scholars in Hinduism.

Vedas are śruti—revealed orally, apauruṣeya (not human-composed or "written"). Rishikas are seers to whom mantras were manifested; anukramanis credit them with Rigveda hymns like Lopamudra (1.179), Ghosha (10.39-40), Apala (8.91). " Writers" was the original post's term I addressed factually, without any men-vs-women framing.
