@trackingthestrm I was at every home game and 1 road game for the 1994 (winless) season. It was a disaster. Maybe Jim Walden had been given a difficult situation, but he certainly didn't make it any better in his 7 seasons. I'm sorry, i just can't celebrate his legacy.

An accidental tradition started 4 years ago. After ISU won the Fiesta Bowl 4 years ago I opened one of three 2016 bottles of Bourbon Co. First NY6 bowl win. Opened the 2nd tonight to mark a school record of 11 wins. The 3rd? How about Dallas in December 2025?

@CyeOfTheStorm 1994 vs Northern Iowa; my freshman year as part of the ISUCF"V"MB. We lost. It was the first loss of the 0-10-1 season. Being a Cyclone isn't easy, but it is awesome.

@CyGradCyDad Grand Canyon is amazing, but it's 3.5 hours from Phoenix, and you can't do it justice in a couple hours. You need to hike or take a donkey to the bottom and back (an all-day event) and probably drive to a few different points around it to see sunrise and sunset.

Going to Phoenix with the wife and the boys for the Williams Syndrome Conference. We are going a few days ahead of time. Anyone have any good spots in the PHX area to visit or hang out. Would love to do Grand Canyon or something but the anxiety might be to much for the boys.

Tonight's Big 12 Tournament title game reminded me of Rocky 4. All season, Houston was like Ivan Drago --- simply destroying its opponents. Tonight --- just like Drago --- the Cougars proved that they're not a machine. They were cut --- and it was BAD cut thanks to Iowa State.
