So, I had never actually seen It's a Wonderful Life until last night. My wife was out, so I put the kids to bed, sat down with it and... Wow. Wife got home later and asked if I'd been crying and rolled her eyes as I blubbered on. Felt a bit silly, but it was worth it.

Had such a good time hanging with great folks at my show last night at Barley+Vine in Lakeville, I forgot to order food! Lobster Mac-n-Cheese, I’ll see you next time.

@Randy_Stanhope @BirkMatt I guess I didn’t take it that way. I just thought he was saying that there are so many conflicting opinions out there, and the dialogue keeps changing, so we can’t take any one person’s word for anything. I’m all for being optimistic yet cautious... I’m a mask wearer:)

@LA_Gregory A good read when we think we have it rough. I send up prayers for my Christian brothers living in that dire situation. I know one thing... they will eventually reside with Jesus in paradise, while those that promote and enforce this type of horror likely will not have it so good.

George Will with a sobering reminder that a liberty-based society like ours depends on educators doing their job. Some days I get overwhelmed with this thought, and other days it sends me diving back into my work with the 106 students I'm entrusted with for another week or two.
