@davidcernat Thats the point. Whole 140 mil people just sitting there silently when massacre happening right next to them. They have no protest, no big petition, almost no outrage in the media, they cant even say no to war bc they are too scared of few days in jail...

@davidcernat Russia has atleast 30x of gamedevs from your number Also try finding any condemnation of war from the guy himself. The only thing I found where he mentions war is a quote about how world should not cancel Russia and how hard it is to work in Russia after 2022 with no sponsors

@hirevoyd The devs didn't start the war. Here's a letter that ended up being signed by 2400 Russian game developers in 2022, before the sanctions and lack of imported goods even became an issue:

@davidcernat I understand that might be some situations, but a) they had 5 years to handle b) the guy in question is quite popular media person with few blogs and podcasts, sure he has enough money to move out. This guy who CHOSE to stay in Russia having a podcast with Raf and Chris

@hirevoyd If you're young, maybe, but not everyone is in a position where they can pack up and move. Maybe they have unpaid loans (so not allowed to leave), or they have elderly relatives to take care of, or they have an apartment that they can't sell for foreign currency, and so on.
