El Hijo del Vikingo and The War Raiders are the new AAA Champions. It definitely feels like WWE is doing a complete reshuffling of the top scene in AAA and establishing a whole new lineup of champions across the board. Interesting choices, sure, but honestly, it makes perfect sense from a business standpoint. If you’re going to put titles on people, you might as well put them on the most recognizable, marketable, and internationally known names connected to the brand right now. El Hijo del Vikingo and The War Raiders absolutely fit that description.

It’s clear their plan for Liv post mania was a Stephanie rematch. But when Stephanie’s injury ended up being more severe than they thought, they didn’t bother to shift their plans. They just shrugged and said, okay we’ll wait and have Liv do nothing in the meantime. It shows not only how creatively bankrupt this company is but also the wild double standards. Do you think they would have done this to Roman if Jacob was hurt? And we saw how they moved Gunther to SD just to fight Cody. They could have made alternative plans for Liv but chose not to.
