The xUSD and deUSD failures made that obvious: what looked like simple yield-backed dollars were actually tied to hidden pipelines and leveraged exposures. When those collapsed, users discovered they had no real visibility into what their “stablecoin” was backed by.
There are transparent systems out there, Morpho, vaults, structured products, but they stop at transparency. They don’t function like money. Once funds enter a vault, they’re stuck. You can’t trade the position, can’t use it as collateral, can’t move it around the ecosystem. The strategy is visible, but your liquidity is trapped.
