@servergoggles I've also rewritten the backend to use clickhouse and redpanda (Kafka) rather than timescale and redis, liking it so far!

Been working on the concept of "markers" in @servergoggles, with the idea being that you can fire a request off to our API and store a marker to add context to your metrics charts. Still fine-tuning some of the details but I think it's useful!

I was listening to @jasonfried on @davidsenra's podcast and he explained the letter that's displayed when you get started in Basecamp. One of the biggest things I get when talking to people about Stratbase is "Wait, it's just you working on this?" [1/2]

ok pvm 2.0 is now out, restructured some of the code, made the commands make a bit more sense, plus you can toggle extensions now with pvm extensions enable/disable <extension> github.com/hjbdev/pvm

I do wish they'd work with harnesses like OpenCode to allow usage there. I was glad to see OpenAI do it, just need the others to do the same.

I'm going to need to write a script to spin up a bunch of servers in order to load test this before going live. If anyone has any suggestions of how to manage that I'm all ears, otherwise I'll just get codex to whip something up. What could possibly go wrong

With a $5 planetscale postgres instance handling the database. Only time the CPU properly jumps up is when viewing one of the dashboards that poll the backend for chart data. That's the next problem to solve.

I've been reading up on redis streams today, fixed a few performance problems with the @servergoggles ingest pipeline. Added a few more servers to it, now I've got 8 sending metrics to the ingest route every second. All currently running on a 2vcpu Hetzner server.
