I spent a lot of time in the Penske winners wing, looking at ticket stubs and reading newspaper stories from the late Robin Miller. Love this lede from 1991 when Mears won his 4th: "Father Time hasn't been able to run down A.J. Foyt or Al Unser Sr., but Rick Mears has."

The IMS Museum currently has a wing devoted to the race broadcasts. Loved it. @IndyCarOnFOX era begins, all the way back to radio days. Lots of love for broadcasters like Jim McKay and Paul Page. And the 1992 Indy 500 intro is playing on a loop. 🏁

#RoadRules2026: Missed Heise's goal, but saw the other three Frost tallies while dining at Long John Silver's. 4-0 Frost after one. They've been rolling after the Olympics, minus the first game back.

After getting shut out 4-0 to Montreal after the Olympic break, the Frost have a four-game winning streak. Picking up where they left off in January.

Frost win 5-0 over Ottawa. Maddie Rooney with her first shutout of the season. Pannek with two goals. Frost now tied with Boston for first place in PWHL standings.

Plenty of Minnesota-related homecomings here... For one, gold medalist Rory Guilday played in three state tournaments with Minnetonka in 2019-21, taking third place twice. She faced Peyton Hemp (Andover) in 2019 and 2020 tourneys.
