😡Inmate’s Legs, Fingers Amputated After Jail Staff Ignored Cries for Help😡 All charges against Rashaad Muhammad were ultimately dropped earlier this month.🤔 After being arrested on Aug. 11, and being put in Fulton County jail the 33-year-old -- who used a cane to walk and took medication regularly for a blood condition -- alleged at a press conference last Friday that he was repeatedly denied medical care as his physical condition rapidly deteriorated for more than two weeks and he ultimately experienced septic shock. “All preventable! All they had to do was give him his antibiotics or get him to the hospital day two, day three,” attorney Ben Crump said. The sheriff’s office says, of the 188 days Muhammad was in custody, 177 were spent at Grady under hospital care, adding he was under the medical care of a private provider, NaphCare, while inside the jail.

@AmericanCrime01 This is my state. I’m gonna be honest, we have some bad people in jail BUT there is a looong history of inmates suffering and dying in this jail. The news barely scrapes the surface on it and then moves on.

@battleofever It took me a long time to truly grasp this. I will never feel worthy enough or completely shed my guilt for things I’ve done in the past, but I’ve finally realized that God doesn’t want me to be perfect. He wants me to accept HIS love in my brokenness!

Meanwhile, our children were sent home from school, our local churches closed, small businesses suffered and closed and our elderly family members died alone. @moroni_memer Laugh and lean into it. Order your virgin mixed drinks. Be the designated driver (to the extent you can stand to do so, if you don't like it, don't). Explain why if asked. Support any AA (or otherwise) sober folks. You'd be surprised how many there are who could use the support.

It's tough to connect with your coworkers when you're the only one who doesn't drink. This is my first time truly being the ONLY person in a large group who doesn't.

😡Geoffrey Brad Matthews faces 39 counts in Carroll County, including 28 counts of child molestation. A former assistant baseball coach and bus driver in west Georgia 😡 One victim came forward and disclosed that the abuse had been happening since they were 12 years old. That victim is now 17. Investigators say Matthews was a trusted friend of the family and no one suspected the abuse was occurring. Matthews allegedly asked students to perform certain acts or take payments to do them. Police say at least one victim was taken to an area of the school without cameras and was sexually victimized.😡

@Sassafrass_84 I was at home sick. My older brother burst in my room saying we were under attack. Turned on the news as the second tower went up in smoke. We live in a total area but have huge gas holding tanks. They were being patrolled by police and military.

I remember September 11th, 2001, like it was yesterday. I was a senior in high school. Driving to school and listening in. Sitting in 1st period with my teacher as they brought the tv in, and we sat in shock. Not knowing who else was target. The horror of that day will never be forgotten. Where were you?
