Congratulations to everyone who took part in the HYROX-style fitness race last week! The determination, teamwork and motivation didn't go unnoticed, which led to raising £2927.50 for #MarieCurieUK.

Staff and prisoners recently raised money for our local charity @DerianHouse. Prisoners raised money from a softball competition where they displayed great teamwork, whilst staff raised money at our recent #HiddenHeroes event. We are proud to support Derian House and their work!

Good luck to all the prisoners participating in our gym charity event on Friday 10th November. They will be taking part in a HYROX-style fitness race, building teamwork and communication skills. So far, they have raised almost £3000 for the Marie Curie charity. #MarieCurieUK

Congratulations to our Shannon Trust orderly, who was nominated for the Tom Shannon Award! He has been nominated for all his hard work in helping other prisoners learn to read, which has helped them to become more confident and progress through their sentences. #Shannon_Trust

We are very proud to announce that we had 76 entries into the @KoestlerArts this year and 30 winners! 2 platinum awards, 1 gold, 2 silver, 6 bronze and 2 outstanding debuts, with the rest winning highly commended or commended! Best year ever! 🥳 Photo's coming soon 📷

Start of @HiddenHeroes_UK week saw staff members take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon. Weather was horrendous which made the climb much more difficult but the team absolutely smashed it. Well done to all involved, raising money and awareness for @mndassoc @ButlerTrust

** HMP Garth Telephone Visits Booking Line ** The opening hours for telephone booking at @hmpgarth are changing. As from Monday 28th March 2022, the lines will be open Monday To Friday 9.00 - 12.30 and 13.30 - 16.30. The phone number remains 01772 443 503.
