First gcp goes down, then aws goes down, and now cloudflare goes down. This is a sign that replacing real engineers with ai slop does NOT work in production
Long horizon tasks mean multimodal agents. It’s not enough for an agent to code — it needs to retrieve the ticket from linear, figure out context from slack, spin up a local dev environment on the computer and test UI using the browser.
