@litocoen @dhh I mean you'd do it as a custom project. Because it's a frame you can build your desk around the frame, including around the legs. We did this for a studio desk and the legs are invisible in 'seated' mode and poke out the bottom when it's in standing mode

@DJohnstonEC @skeptrune This is the correct take. Austin has its flaws but if you need to be around people who literally can’t ever turn off their grind mode in order to be successful there’s something wrong. I’d rather grind in peace with quality of life and do all the conference travel…

Partially true, but misleading. It is a soft fork and backwards compatible. Old nodes treat OP_CHECKZKP as NOP and continue working. Non-ZK transactions remain unaffected in function. However, it does affect everyone on L1. All upgraded nodes must run heavier validation code for the entire chain. L1 ZK Opcode updates add permanent DoS risk (ZK spam), increased CPU load, larger attack surface, and potential consensus risks, even if you never use ZK transactions. The risks can be significantly reduced through careful design, but never eliminated entirely.

To be clear: DogeOS DOGE is NOT Layer 1 Dogecoin. You cannot send DogeOS "DOGE" to your L1 wallet It is an EVM compatible, 1:1 custodial backed* token, designed to represent Dogecoin on EVM compatible blockchains. *(Full trustless can be implemented, but requires a soft fork update to L1) L1 is, and always will be, the ultimate form of self-custodial transactional sovereignty. It cannot be restricted, hijacked, siphoned or taxed. It is technically impossible to "move" L1 Dogecoin off of the network. It must always exist in an L1 wallet, somewhere on-chain. Custom tokens: ERC-20/ERC-721 fungible & NFT standards. dApps & composability: Full DeFi, games, DAOs with interoperable contracts. Automated trustless execution: On-chain escrows, liquidations, royalties, etc. --- For many L1 purists, none of this functionality is worth sacrificing their own self-sovereignty for. This is not a "bad" or "wrong" position. It is the most pure Dogecoin stance you can take. However, any meaningful growth for Dogecoin as a practical currency and ecosystem requires more than pure L1 sovereignty. For users, developers, and builders who want Dogecoin to compete in the modern blockchain world, DogeOS provides a necessary and pragmatic bridge. - You voluntarily deposit your L1 Dogecoin into the custodial bridge. - You receive an equivalent amount of DogeOS DOGE on the EVM-compatible layer. - You gain full access to smart contracts, ERC standards, dApps, and automated on-chain logic. - When desired, you can redeem your DogeOS DOGE back to native L1 Dogecoin. This is not a replacement for L1 Dogecoin. It is an opt-in extension layer designed to bring utility and capital efficiency to the Dogecoin community without compromising the integrity of the base layer. L1 remains the ultimate settlement and sovereignty layer. DogeOS becomes the execution and innovation layer. Both can (and should) coexist. The future of Dogecoin does not require choosing one over the other. It requires recognizing that maximum sovereignty and maximum utility are different priorities, and the ecosystem is big enough for both. Purists protect the soul of Dogecoin on L1. Builders expand its reach on DogeOS. Together, they make Dogecoin stronger.

@DogeAccept @probablyluda It’s a soft fork, backwards compatible. This doesn’t really affect anyone on doge who isn’t doing transactions that are using the zk tech. Just adds abilities to the chain.

@probablyluda What do you think about mentioned fork when it comes to introducing the potential of unnecessary vulnerabilities by increasing the surface/attack vector L1? Perhaps DogeOS doesnt need to change the network.. also should call said token something other than Doge to for clarity.

Fuck this. I'm out. I listened to all these KOLs saying, "Buying more $MEGA is the key to your first 100x with size." And guess what? I'm down hella lot from $186,282 I invested into pre-sale and chart is bleeding. I locked my tokens behind Flux which I now can't unlock. I'm done. I can't stand it anymore. When you've been believing into Mega tech for 2 years but I chose to be right, not rich. I have a family, 2 children, I need to feed them. I am selling all my crypto and deleting my accounts on social media. I am leaving the market completely. I can no longer put up with the manipulation and fraud of the teams. I will never go back to these markets again.
