It finally happens 😎: The Toni Martin era of @BlackSabbath gets remastered and reissued. Headless Cross is one of the best metal albums in history for me. Tyr is also an excellent album. At least *some* good news in this world gone mad: iommi.com/2024/03/anno-d…

@mariofusco What do your neighbors say? I guess they profit from the enhanced sound and sonority as well? 😂

@Wyfrel @snicoll @romaingerv @java To reduce risk or chunking the risk into parts. For a "big" business app that may matter more than for "small" apps. My experience from the past is that Hibernate upgrades were not always smooth to put it mildly. So I'd like to get the other updates out of the way first.

@romaingerv @Wyfrel @java We did, I wish you gave us more credits. Given the roadmap of those projects we can’t control, I wonder what you expect us to do.

🚀 Maven Plugin Tip - DepClean 🚀 DepClean automatically cleans the dependency tree of Java projects. It removes all the dependencies that are included in the project's dependency tree but are not actually necessary to build it. 🔥 github.com/ASSERT-KTH/dep…

Scandinavia seems to be an endless source of interesting, innovative and/or progressive metal bands. @KatatoniaBand is my personal favourite for years, but here are a few new findings: 👇😎

@therealdanvega Would it be possible to upgrade to #Java17, #SpringBoot 3.x and JakartaEE while sticking to Hibernate 5.6.x (Jakarta) postboning the upgrade to 6.x to a later step? I've learned that Hibernate upgrades in big applications can be difficult, so doing all in one seems risky.

I want to help you upgrade your #SpringBoot #Java applications to 3.0 & Beyond! I'm preparing tutorials and presentations around what the upgrade process looks like. Outside of that, how can I help 🙋🏼‍♂️ What questions do you have? What problems are you running into? 👇🏻

@unclebobmartin With my own words I would summarize: SRP tries to avoid unwanted side-effects for different stakeholders of the code when making changes by separating the relevant code by responsibility of each stakeholder group.

SRP states that each software module should have only one reason to change. @unclebobmartin states: "... remember that the reasons for change are people. It is people who request changes." 👇 1/2

Here are my notes about the SOLID design principles so far. I will probably be adding some comments to them over time, as I learn more about software design - but here is the first version: jenkov.com/tutorials/soft… #SoftwareDesign #SoftwareDevelopment #SoftwareEngineering
