The risk of loss in trading futures options and/or swaps is substantial and you must consider whether this is a suitable investment considering your financial resources.Past performance whether actual or indicated by simulated historical tests is not indicative of future results.

@JLinvilleFert @SecRollins How much immediate impact would DEF make? Not everyone going to go out and get things deleted right away or is it easier than paying someone to do it? Flip a switch at the dealer level?

We need to fix this for today and the next generation: Immediate - farmer payments to offset gov't action in the Middle East Short-term - remove DEF requirements/make DEF equipment removal costs a tax deduction Medium-term - low interest loans to boost in place nitrogen production Long-term - financing package for NEW nitrogen production facility and company (boost supply and competition)

Fertilizer prices are rising—and the Trump Administration is doing EVERYTHING to combat it. About 80% of our farmers locked in supply last fall. For those who didn’t, we’re working to keep prices reasonable and ensure they get what they need this planting season. We’re boosting supply, cutting barriers, and taking action NOW—with more to come. Food security is national security. 🇺🇸

Alabama coach Nate Oats says he is good friends with T.J. Otzelberger, saying that he has known Otzelberger since the Cyclone head coach played at UW-Whitewater. Oats was an assistant coach at UW-Whitewater from 2000-02, shortly after Otzelberger's career ended.

@StoneX_Official Who knows?? Hopefully Arlen throws out an outrageous yield again next year and wrongfully defends it at the expense of the American grain farmers.

@TheTedSpread This tour thinks they have good intentions but you’re trampling over the property rights of every land owner you step foot on w/o permission. Stealing confidential information from the producer is an issue also. This isn’t accepted in any other industry. #pftour25 #trespassertour

With the pro farmer crop tour about to kick off you might be asking yourself… what’s the f*cking point? I know. I do every year. This will be my 10th tour in a row, 11th overall. That means my 10th year in a row spending my birthday and my kids first day of school away from home. Every year I say… it’s too much. I can’t go next year. I put so much extra stress on myself (than most other scouts) by taking on media obligations to update you guys. To post on here. And to keep my clients informed and help manage their accounts. It’s not easy work. And it’s usually hot af and/or storming. And apparently I’m allergic af to corn dust. And last year I cut my eye on a corn leaf pretty F’n bad… But every year I sign up again. And every year I take on the same responsibilities. Why? Because it’s honestly the best way I know to get an understanding of this year’s corn and bean crops outside of the USDA. And I’ve made some great friends, you should come sometime. It might not be perfect. And yeah, (like last year) things can change dramatically after the 3rd week of August. But I’ve never once seen anyone on tour cherry picking just to push a narrative. What these guys do is legit. The best we can. So I hope you’ll follow along. We do it for ourselves but we do it for you too. It’s my most loved and hated week of the year. So please remember to cut me (us) some slack. God bless you and yours. @ChipFlory #pftour25

Most assume that the #corn yield is set in July when the crop pollinates, and that is the time when weather has the greatest impact on yield. But August weather also plays a big role. Heat, or the lack thereof, impacts seed size, and therefore yield. #oatt

So if your corn currently looks decent, do you run fungicides when the corn price is below your insurance guarantee, or save the money and hope things don’t get out of hand?

@gwiesefarms OR had a bunch of equity they term out operating debt against. OR some even filed for bankruptcy and came out bigger and better. Ive seen many cases of both.

@gwiesefarms If you’ve got equity, cash is only a phone call away. Cash poor is a phrase designed to make sure land debt, equipment debt, etc. keep that interest income coming in.
