Never understood why everyone reveres Jony Ive so much. Everything the guy touched after the original iPhone became worse. His monomaniacal obsession with making Apple devices physically thinner and visually flatter significantly degraded the user experience, from broken keyboards to poor battery life to crappy “dongles” required to plug anything into a MacBook. He substituted ideology for usability and prioritized impressing fellow designers over giving Apple users a useful device, killing off any last vestiges of joy Apple customers once felt when ordering a new product. He was the exact opposite of what any good company should seek in a senior executive, and OpenAI—and its users—will likely not be the better for his involvement.

This is all so grotesquely dumb and so surreally opposite to basic human morality that one can’t believe it’s real. It motivates many to try and look for a second agenda, to try and read between the lines and make it to a far larger truth, but I'm afraid the answer is simple.

Tušil někdo, že to půjde s Trumpem tak rychle do hajzlu? Že za měsíc řekne, že Ukrajina si začala? Že jim bude nařizovat volby? Že nás tu bude JD Vance jebat? Regulárně zažívám pocit, jako když vyhrál tenkrát Zeman. To jsem si taky říkal, "klid tak hrozný to přeci nebude..." a bylo to ještě horší než se mohlo zdát. Jenže tohle jsou USA. Co se asi musí honit hlavou Zelenskému, když mu tam tři roky umírají lidi, russák mu hází bomby na sídliště a nemocnice? A oni ho takhle zabodnou? To má od Západu za to, že tři roky drží rusáka na uzdě? To se fakt bojíš, co ten mamlas udělá zítra...
