There is regular NFT art, and then there is Clear Collectibles art. The full breakdown of how we are creating the most complex, unique, and visually stunning generative PFP collection on @solana. Yes, all of the below are generated with traits from our collection! Before we jump into the how, let’s talk about the story behind the Clear Collectibles art. NFT collections have largely been reusing the same template for most projects. Human or animal characters with clothes, interesting skins, and some cool traits. Largely, the floors of most collections look like floors. They are boring and uninspiring whereas the 1:1s or legendaries look amazing. However, those rarer more complex skins/traits are much more resource-intensive which is why 99% of collections have so few of them. We decided to do the complete opposite. How can we encompass the amazing, inspiring feeling when people look at the best NFTs in the collection? The answer lies in creating an NFT so well that it quite literally looks like it was created as a 1:1. Thus, we went down the path of crafting a collection we felt is one of the best the space has ever seen. It took almost 5 months alone to come up with a base character that we were happy with. It’s tough building a new sort of base character in the world of NFTs, especially when so many art styles and projects have been attempted in the past. We ultimately decided to go with a ghost-like character with a floating head that is easily recognizable by the base alone. We went through various iterations to get something that we really felt would encompass a unique character and has the depth to create amazing traits. The final Clear Collectibles is clean, collected, and looks amazing in a profile picture. The base is important to create a recognizable character, but the traits make or break the collection. The Clear Collectibles concept allows us to do amazing things with the traits all the way from having skins with buildings, beaches, and everything in between. However, given the clear nature of the character, each trait has to be drawn with a back layer and a main front layer. We only have 4 main layers, but in reality that translates to 6 layers which have to be meticulously pieced together. This sort of layering has not been previously attempted due to the high amount of technical expertise needed to link traits together and remove them from the metadata once the generation is complete. We took it upon ourselves to perfect the look of the character and go about layering each trait with the front and back layers to truly give it the feel of a 1:1. You will find an incredible diversity of traits within our collection. All the way from cute animals to dungeons to space suits and planets. The traits are unique, but with an easily recognizable base character, we will have one of the most visually stunning and diverse collections. With the amazing partnership and support from @BlessedDogsPxL, we have managed to create one of the most visually stunning generative collections across any blockchain. The creation of the Clear Collectibles art has taken well over 5 months to create. Art is an incredibly important part of any NFT project, and to that point, we aim for nothing but the best.
