In amongst the cost of living crisis and workforce crisis impacting many sectors, our essential social care workers who quietly support over 15,000 people in Nottinghamshire alone, are struggling to cope, we are struggling to recruit, and NHS pressures give us pressure.

Our chair @Voa1234 spoke to @bbc5live about our member survey published today, which shows 9 in 10 NHS leaders think staffing gaps and a lack of capacity in social care are putting the safety of patients in the NHS at risk. Government must bring forward support for social care.

We can all help reduce the spread of #Coronavirus by wearing a face covering: on public transport when you go to hospital/clinical appointments or visit someone in hospital If you can, also wear a face covering in other places such as shops when it's hard to stay away from others

Britain’s Cancer Crisis - 7.30pm @BBCPanorama tonight, @bowelbabe talks to 31 y/o mum Kelly Smith. Her chemo was paused at start of lockdown. Kelly died of bowel cancer last month. The prog reveals 35,000 more people cld die of cancer in next 12 mths due to delays in treatment
