@Quincinerate Honestly, as your writing you may find inspiration in the breaking of the cycle. New ideas from new environments, etc etc. I'm no musician, but I write lyrics and poetry and paint, and I find that whatever I consume leaves a flavor on what I create. Could be cool.

@Quincinerate Ah man you make music so I bet you could find some enjoyment in all kinds of crazy stuff. I took a long break from heavy music, like 7 years no checking out new bands or albums, maybe one show in a year if someone was playing. I got into weird stuff and loved every second.

@Quincinerate I really enjoyed both Speaker of the Dead and Slave to the Game. His writing goes from like, punk ass angry kid in new York to suddenly like songs from comic book perspectives or alien invasions or possessions. He eventually gets into religious topics in the new new stuff also

@homelessjacket Yeah also with social media being way more permanent now it's about the looks even more (although it always was) and yeah minimal raw debut, it's like every band has to start with their Black Parade style album if they even want a deal.
