Maryam Deris and Fariba Hosseini, held in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz, are on hunger strike and their lives are in danger.
Maryam Deris began a dry hunger strike on February 23 after authorities refused to accept her 2-billion-toman bail. Fariba Hosseini, who has a heart condition, has been on a hunger strike since February 11. Prison authorities have refused to transfer either woman to the hospital.
