We ended our day with a Dragon Parade on the school yard with our dragon which we worked together to make! 🐉 🥁🪇

We have enjoyed celebrating Lunar New Year in Reception today with a carousel of fun activities. We enjoyed tasting some Chinese food… noodles were very popular! 🍜

We have been learning all about the Polar regions this week in Reception. We enjoyed learning all about animals which live in the Arctic and those that live in Antarctica ❄️ 🐧 🐻‍❄️

We love PE in Reception! We enjoyed our dance lesson this week and thought carefully about the different ways we could move to represent different animals 👏🤩

We have made a super start to the New Year in Reception! 🌟 We have been enjoying lots of winter themed challenges this week! ❄️ ⛄️

We enjoyed our trip to the Northern Stage today to watch a performance of ‘Wolf!’ . We loved joining in with the wolf dance!

We have been looking at number composition in maths this week. We have had lots of fun making lots of number 4 stampolines to explore the different ways we can make 4 🤩

We have been impressing @PE_SportService with our super skills this afternoon!

We have had a fantastic week working with Bikeability instructors to develop our balance bike skill. Lots of us are now able to ride two wheeled pedal bikes independently and some of us are so, so close! Well done everyone… keep pedalling! 👏🤩 🚲

We have enjoyed our Gingerbread Man topic this week in Reception. We have had lots of fun building bridges, writing lists, decorating gingerbread people and retelling the story with puppets! 🤩👏

We are enjoying our Traditional Tales theme in Reception. We loved our Three Little Pigs challenges last week 🐷 🐷 🐷

Last week, our wonderful Digital Leaders worked with Julian @gem_education to make an online safety video. We had lots of great ideas and can’t wait to share the finished video with you! 🎥🤩

We have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh this afternoon. We enjoyed creating our own Starry Night paintings 🤩 🎨✨⭐️🌠

We had lots of fun singing Incy Wincy and retelling the nursery rhyme using our class story map, some of us even created our own! 🤩👏 🕷️ #WorldNurseryRhymeweek #earlyyearslanguageandliteracy
