@cattlelist A {p,q,r} honeycomb is made of {p,q} “cells”, r meeting at each edge. A {p,q} cell is a polyhedron made of p-gons, q meeting at each vertex. E.g. {4,3} is a cube and {4,3,4} is a stack of cubes. Things can get exotic. This paper has all the details: arxiv.org/abs/1511.02851
