First thing “he survived” so with that out of the way, last week I found out about a hilarious series of coincidences. I currently have an empty apartment in Helsinki, there’s work going on so I’ve not found a tenant yet. My daughter asked if she can stay there for the summer months. She asked me to make the electricity contract so I did to the best of my recollection. I ordered the contract to flat no 193, I actually own 197. She moved in and instantly complained to me that the electric is off, so I called the company and explained my error, they said that there’s nothing they can do until Tuesday as it’s Easter weekend, I’ll be paying someone’s electricity for a few days. I didn’t like that, so I hopped on to their automated system and switched it there, saying to terminate the contract at 193 asap. At midnight that Thursday it was terminated and the electric went off and moved to 197. However the poor bloke in 193 is on an assisted breathing apparatus (iron lung) which basically had him being pumped oxygen 24/7. So emergency services and lots of panic there on Good Friday morning. But he survived and it’s ok 🙈🙈
