These are awful numbers! 1 out of 5 are fake? I do know that part of recruitment marketing is to advertise and put them out on the web. I know from 18 years of experience that 95% of the candidate applications that I receive do not have experience within the industry of need, have never held the level of role and don’t have the experience to take on that role and appear not to have read the job description or requirements at all i.e. IT Project Managers applying for a Construction Project Manager role. Job title is clearly stated. Not even CLOSE but that “quick apply” button is just too tempting.

In 2023, 25% of jobs gained were gov’t. 2024, 20% of jobs gained were gov’t roles. The gov’t bloat is being hemmed up. Which business segments are being referred to in the article?
I recruit within oil & gas plus ancillary segments that touch that industry and we’re wildly busy and it’s beautiful. I’m seeing expansion in real estate & construction portions of my client base and the hiring of high $$ blue collar roles as well.
Do you feel there is a contraction in tech roles? I do and something needs to be done about offshoring & H1B.

🚨BREAKING: Elise Stefanik is preparing to RUN for Governor of New York — and the SWAMP IS PANICKING.
She’s smart, fearless, pro-Trump, anti-woke, and ready to CLEAN HOUSE in the most corrupt state in America.
I FULLY SUPPORT THIS MOVE.
Imagine her going head-to-head with Hochul or AOC… it’s GAME OVER.
Do YOU support Stefanik for Governor?
YES or NO?

UPenn has agreed to right its wrongs, restore records to the rightful female athletes, and issue an apology to the women impacted by the man they allowed to compete as a woman.
Are pigs flying?
God bless @realDonaldTrump.

@StaceBenu @RealJessica05 I agree 100%. A bunch of useless courses leading to tremendous debt. 40% don’t even graduate and 36% go to jobs that didn’t require a degree!

@RealJessica05 In my profession, executive recruiter, I see a LOT of BS (not Bachelor of Science) degrees. My take is that if a degree isn’t a professional degree i.e. you have to have it to do THAT job, then it’s a scam. Trades are where the $$$ is at!
