@Gius200704 @hirosafir_ All broadcast franchises need Congress and Senate approval and signed by the president. but since TV is now mostly overtaken by digital media and streaming, ABSCBN said they currently do not see the need to apply for a tv/radio franchise at the moment.

It can't be called Asiavision. Asiavision is a news exchange operated by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. ESC is a brand EBU holds the rights to. By calling it ESCA, it creates a clear link back to the original brand.

@Gius200704 @hirosafir_ NTC cease-and-desist order back in 2020 for the lapse of the 25-year broadcast license. so all free-to-air broadcast channels on TV and radio have to stop broadcasting. cable and digital are not under this broadcast license thats why Kapamilya Channel and KOL exist.

@Gius200704 @hirosafir_ the current licensing agreement with AllTV (which was initiated by AllTV btw) could have been the loophole, but dont quote me on that. but, AllTV is basically an ABSCBN channel now, even on screen, as seen from the updated screen bug from a week ago
