@Crunchyroll Could you please add a better option to report misstimed subtitles? I'm currently watching Black Clover and there a multiple episodes with miss-timed subtitles (around 5 seconds of delay). I used your suggested option to report yesterday, but that took so much time.

@wuestenigel @deutschetelekom @Cloudflare Nope.

@alperortac @nuqs47ng It is, but as laid out in the initial post it has major issues when comparing to the setup you'd have with the tailwind prettier plugin.

@nuqs47ng That's actually great. I assumed that Biome is also much faster than Prettier.

@RobbieSpeed Depending on implementation your RSC app can serve as a BFF / api gateway.

@devagrawal09 Of course you can, but what is the usefulness of RSC in that case?

Currently trying to get into 3d modelling and sculpting. I feel like I won't finish this Ahri sculpt anytime soon. Everything about it is still extremely hard, just like when I first started out with programming. Will probably stick to more low poly things for now.

@HandOfBlood Knabe Kola ist verdammt genial. Leider hat unser Rewe nicht die Zero Variante, hoffe die mal probieren zu können. Wann gibts Flaschen?

Rewrote my post on Docker secret mounts. More concise in places, deeper in others. A fresh design as well. Feedback welcome! :) timnelke.com/blog/stop-secr…

@ipwanciu Good enough for simple forms! Your proposed solution breaks for complex form, e.g. arrays of inputs or mapping to objects. A personal issue I have with FormData has to do with file inputs returning a file of size 0, when nothing is uploaded, which could also be an hazard.

There's nothing magical in converting a form into an object. 👀 You must handle the submit event and prevent the default submit behavior, then create form data from the form element. You can send the FormData to the server, by the way, and perform the serialization there. However, if the server can't handle FormData, create an object out of it. 👇 `Object.fromEntries` is your friend!

@jh3yy While this *is* cool, I always feel annoyed encountering something like this. I scroll see text, read, want to scroll further and then I'm stuck in a (then) annoying animation.

CSS text reveal on scroll 📜 <span style="--start: 210; --end: 280;">details</span> span { animation: reveal; animation-timeline: --section; animation-range: contain calc(var(--start) * 1px) contain calc(var(--end) * 1px); } @keyframes reveal { 0% { opacity: 0.2; }}
jhey ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ@jh3yy

The CSS Trick for this text reveal on scroll? ✨ Combine position: sticky with scroll animation. Split the text into words. Use a "Pixel per character" value to calculate the start and end scroll position for each word 🤙

@jarredsumner @mjackson What do you mean by specifying `once: true`? Can't find anything on the mdn doc regarding that.

@mjackson be very careful with memory leaks & AbortSignal. It’s so easy to create a memory leak . At minimum I suggest always specifying once: true.

@me_jd_solanki I have to be frank though, no idea what the real world performance impact would be. It would largely depend on the complexity of the page it is used on.

@me_jd_solanki hover(a,b) would be a different token from hover(b,a) which would add unnecessary bloat, especially since you will most likely have not one but many instances of this ocurring.

Cool improvement we just merged into our VS Code plugin — it'll now tell you when any Tailwind class you've used could be written in a simpler or more idiomatic way ✨

@me_jd_solanki Your suggestion has the downside of potentially creating an enormous amount of additional classes that may no longer be compressed as nicely due to less token repetition.
