@_veritas_lux_ @RVAReid You could get a house in a will, thats not necessarily money, but something of value. Your family could have a reputation (in the streets, politics, wtvr) that you can bank on. Doesnt have to be money.

The issue is that 90% of women and 80% of men DO want to have kids, and IIRC - might get corrected by a few years here - most people think peak fertility is in the 30s.

Obviously, women do not "hit every wall hard" at age 30 or 35, unless the person speaking is a pedophile.
BUT. The peak age of human fertility really is like 23, and I frankly feel that ~every business-woman I have ever seriously dated was just lied to repeatedly about this.

misogyny is the reason so many people think OP is an AH too. no one would think she’s obligated to accommodate a virtual stranger’s 4 young children if she wasn’t a woman. random women are expected to care for kids that aren’t theirs more than the kids’ fathers are expected to.
