Reportedly police in Guangxi, China were conducting electric bike inspections (must be like Florida...) when
a 30 year old man named Wen decided that wasn't cool.
So, he decided to start stabbing the cops. He stabbed 5 police officers and 2 random members of the public 🔪
Police eventually subdued him with their fangbao mancatcher stick which is a surprisingly common thing Chinese police use. Seems like a handgun would be a lot less risky but it's China, so....

Just learned about the concept of a “telescope ranch” in Texas.
People pay to have their $10,000+ telescope rigs set up in the middle of TX to avoid light pollution.
Every night the roof rolls back off the warehouses.
Then you can remote in to your telescope and use it from anywhere in the world.

It is what it is.
The husband wasn't going to lift a single finger to raise that child, because most husbands never actually do.
And I can see how an accidental pregnancy at 40 yrs old meant a severe shortening of Mom's life because she would be the only one actually raising that child (feeding, dishes, laundry, cleaning) for the next 18 years while hubby napped on the couch while telling everyone "they" were raising another little one.
And there's a HUGE chance the baby would have Down's Syndrome or other issues due to a geriatric pregnancy, which of course Mom would be expected to carry the full load of by herself while dad naps on the couch.

Genuine question, are cave explorers not worried about the water down there in regards to bacteria and diseases? I can't imagine pools of probably stagnant water probably full of bat shit is very good for you.
