bought it on sale for like 10 bucks when my local barnes and noble closed 😭 its just not meant for reading its so bulky and annoying to hold and the pattern rubs off after five touches

i have exactly one of those penguin clothbound editions and its monte cristo and ive never flipped through it let alone read it
