Nothing to do with the literal definition of inflation: inflating the money supply. - He then pivoted to tell us it was "Putin's Price Hike", Russia invaded Ukraine after we already had 40yr high inflation - Powell waited too long to hike, didn't hike high enough, and waited too long to cut. He sure found a way to cut just before the election to help Kamala, putting in an emergency sized rate cut to help his candidate. Diagnosis: Terminal TDS, Savior Complex, grossly incompetent.
