Sexual violence against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails is documented and real. The last thing this cause needs is fabricated tweets from propagandists like this account.

Palestinian politician Mohammed Dahlan has reportedly met with Israel's internal security and counterintelligence service head in the UAE during the Iran-war ceasefire. A few things to note regarding the report: The report says the meeting is part of an idea for Dahlan to temporarily lead a post-war Gaza. The Dahlan faction, in fact, already has his influence, as most of the Technocratic committee are connected to the Dahlan faction, and other close associates of Dahlan were attending the negotiating process to stop the Gaza war in Cairo. The report claims discussions are going on regarding Dahlan leading a temporary or transitional Gaza in a post-war scenario. Dahlan himself has said repeatedly he is not interested in assuming an official leadership position in any future Palestinian government, but he will help in rebuilding the Palestinian political system. Regarding the Wall Street Journal report cited by Ynet that claims Dahlan works independently from Hamas and the PA, that's not accurate. The Dahlan faction has been working with the political leadership of Hamas before, during, and now after the War. The Dahlan faction is closer to Hamas than to the PA.

An Israeli leadership genuinely interested in better integrating Israel in the Middle East, building neighboring alliances, and moving forward should take such a position seriously and start working on it. Sadly, with the current coalition that does not exist.

BREAKING: Palestinian ambassador to the UN, Riyadh Mansour, withdrew his bid to become the Vice President of the UN General Assembly after immense U.S. pressure on him to do so. Much respect to Riyadh Mansour for taking such a step and prioritising the general benefit of the Palestinians over personal benefits. We need more Riyadh Mansour in our political spectrum

I have been talking to friends and relatives in the Gaza Strip about this specific issue for weeks. Parents are taking shifts at nights to protect their children from rat bites, and the situation is getting catastrophic. No waste collection is possible, the sewage system is completely destroyed, and diseases are spreading among the displaced. This health & humanitarian catastrophe must be addressed regardless of what's the status quo of the ceasefire agreement. So far, Netanyahu's government is allowing half solutions to treat the outcomes of the issue, not the conditions producing it.

Another crisis in the #Gaza Strip. Rats and parasites are surging. Skin infections are spreading. Risk of disease is increasing. Hundreds of UNRWA medical personnel are treating around 400 cases a day, but they could do more if they received adequate quantities of medications. Over 125,000 cases of skin infections related to rats and parasites were reported between January and May 2026 in the Gaz Strip. Supplies need to be allowed into Gaza at scale. #UNRWAworks

No one brought Israel public harm as its own officials did, from the genocidal statements during the two years of war to the policies they have applied in the West Bank and now doing this.

Far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir released a video showing detained participants of the intercepted Gaza-bound flotilla being bound and dragged in Israel's Ashdod Port, writing, "That's how we welcome the terror supporters. Welcome to Israel." Read more here: haaretz.com/israel-news/is…

Israel's Finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, is publicly calling for the expulsion of Palestinians from the village of Khan Al Ahmar, northeast of Jerusalem, in response to the ICC arrest warrant against him today. Smotrich also described the arrest warrant against him as a "declaration of war".

From March to May — and long before that — the wave of settler terrorism in the West Bank seems never-ending. Week after week, we hear of dozens of attacks on homes, villages, vehicles, individuals, and even animals. The attacks are escalating to the point where settlers literally work like militias, tying people up and blindfolding them in broad daylight. They burn religious sites and homes, sometimes killing. Sexually abusing civilians. They harass children on their way to school and to soccer fields, stop families from burying their loved ones in family cemeteries, run over livestock, and the list goes on. We hear of rare investigations, soft condemnations from some Israeli officials (mostly in English, never in Hebrew), and rare arrests, only to find that those arrested were released hours later and went right back to harassing and intimidating Palestinian civilians. The current government, along with the police, watched all of this unfold since October 2023 and did nothing to stop it. They watched multiple civilians killed by settlers in April and did not move. Settlers escalated and carried the pattern into May, and still nothing stops them. When the EU decided to impose sanctions on settlers for these acts, government officials woke up to call it a "blood libel", "sanctions based on political position", something to refuse and condemn. Yet even after all that noise, the attacks continue, and the government sits and watches. If the Israeli government is troubled by these sanctions, it should start by stopping its own bad actors—ending the terrorism being carried out in its name and stopping the expansion of settlements across the West Bank at the cost of Palestinian homes and villages.
