🗣️ Myles Lewis-Skelly on his performance in the #Arsenal win over Fulham today: “I only knew I was playing in midfield in the changing room before and when I saw the team sheet I had to scratch my eyes a little! But I have to thank the manager for that. But it felt so natural and it was really special for me today.
“For me coming in to the game I had to make sure I took the energy from the crowd, go in to the first duel and be positive because when you play with confidence it really helps.
“It was just coming in and making sure I was the best version of myself. I don’t take that lightly and I make sure I recover well, eat well and I don’t take that lightly. So really pleased with today and we go again on Tuesday!”
A brilliant interview from MLS. You can tell that he is absolutely living the dream. START HIM ON TUESDAY MIKEL, PLEASE! 🙏
@Mo_Arsenal9 I think he is. Sure he may run into some trouble with a pass or long dribble. Overall he is so calm, always in the right place, solid in standing tackle, solid in the air, solid in the slide tackle, strong, and always reliable. He and Gabriel are both in top 3.
@thearsfamily97 I feel you, but Arteta feels like he running out of time to win something and does not want to get burned by any slip ups. Therefore, he is playing his trusted players over and over. Risky strategy but if we win the league, Arteta gets all the flowers.
Watching this Skelly performance only makes me more annoyed at Arteta.
It shouldn't have taken his long. This boy is obviously good enough to be our LCM, even if it's just rotation minutes. Letting him sit for an entire season with almost no midfield minutes stunted his development.
Kylian Mbappe has been told he lacks the technical brilliance of Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele as questions arise over his suitability as France’s primary leader 🤔🇫🇷

@ArsenalBuzzCom If we sell him, we will buy to replace him. His time is up. 1. He can't stay fit. 2. He is not even half the player he was at his best. 3. We are one win from a champions league final, we need the absolute best players. If we win a major trophy, we can go get anyone we want.
🗣️| Anders Limpar: “It would be dangerous for Arsenal to sell Martin Odegaard. The other players rely on him so much. The way he shows for the ball and dictates games, who is he taking the pressure off? Declan Rice and that lets Declan Rice do his stuff. He takes the pressure off Martin Zubimendi too.
“Suddenly Odegaard, the playmaker, is out. So the players look to Declan Rice. He is an engine but he is not a player who will make 20 assists with his passing. Zubimendi is not that player either.
“They are the link players between defence and attack. Odegaard is the playmaker. He makes the other players better. He makes Zubimendi and Declan Rice better.
“It’s not fair what people say about Odegaard. To say that he’s been a bad player or we need to sell him, no, I don’t think so.” [FruityKing] #afc
@Tripple____M But he can defend like crazy. And we need him to defend first. And unlike the Italian, he can play a few games in a row without getting injured.
Hincapie should just play CB, he's not cut for Left back. There are some passes, some runs that he should make but he always goes back. Annoying to watch
@NilSatis__@_Josh__D@OBG_AFC It should have never gone to VAR. You can't say there was no contact and therefore not a clear and obvious mistake. But the final decision is correct in my opinion.
@_Josh__D@howyoumean7@OBG_AFC It was given as a foul, so yes it would be given outside the box! Wouldn’t have VAR to overturn it - it looked stone wall at first, in real time but the more you see it the softer it gets IMO! Can’t just say there is contact because contact literally all the time every challenge
If you can look at this picture 13 times and still insist there's no contact, then you should apply for a referees job with UEFA. They'd welcome you with open arms..
